The Plastic Bakery workshop recycles used bags, film, caps, and bottles made of HDPE and LDPE plastics and turns them into a solid, durable sheet material, which is then used to create products based on its own designs as well as custom orders.

We develop practical and long-lasting products and minimize the amount of waste generated by our production process. The project is in an active stage of development and experimentation, and we are happy to find solutions and bring great ideas to life using recycled materials.
Custom-made products
The workshop designs and creates its own products and carries out custom projects
  • Signboard
A sign commissioned by the coworking space and cafe Letters and Numbers cafe was made entirely from plastic bottle caps. HDPE plastic is difficult to join, so a custom-made plastic riveting tool was created specifically for this project. This eliminated the need for glue or metal fasteners.
  • Stencil
Thin sheet plastic is ideal for making reusable stencils. The design was cut on a CNC machine. The sheet itself was made from plastic shavings left over from a previous project.
  • Labels
Plastic bag labels made from recycled bottle caps.
